web extensions. The available Apache .NET module does not fully support
.NET 2.0 and the MapGuide API. You can partially get around the IIS
simultaneous connection issue by editing the Windows metabase. I have done
this and have not had any issues developing MGOS applications on XP Pro (but our
production server is a server OS). Details on this are in a document I
wrote for MapServer Enterprise installs. Much of this document does not
apply anymore with the release of MGOS 1.0, but this particular section, the
very last one in the document, still does apply. It can be downloaded from

application and should be run on a “Server Class” operating system, ie: Windows
