I takes a very long time just to start to edit the layer. I did end
up creating a seperate MGE user for those layers I want to display in
Enterprise. This way it doesn't have to go through every single table in
the main schema. This seems to have helped, but I can't get the layers to
appear in the map.</FONT></DIV></DIV>

<P><FONT size=2>Can anyone provide some feedback to me on their experiences with
the Oracle<BR>Spatial FDO from the Enterprise edition? Has anyone gotten it to
work in a<BR>satisfactory manner? Are you seeing stability/performance issues?
What is<BR>your setup?<BR><BR>Our experiences aren't great. Some of our
data displays but is quite slow.<BR>Creating a layer from an Oracle Spatial
source is extremely slow (over a<BR>minute just to start editing). I suspect
this is related to the reading of<BR>the schema metadata, but I don't really
