trying to get date-based themes to work, I've come across another problem (a
bug maybe) with Filters. If I enter a condition for a theme such as Field <
AnotherField this works as expected. If the same condition is put into a Filter
on the same layer, no data is displayed. I'm assuming this means an error has
occurred, but no error message is returned.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>The
Studio Help suggests that the expression dialog box for the Filter and Theming
is the same, and it makes sense that it would be. So I would expect a condition
to work equally well in both.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Another
oddity I've come across is when using the 'Get' button in the expression dialog
box. This should return a list of unique values for the selected field.
However, I get an error message titled 'Unable to complete request to site' and
the message 'Parameter was not found: Fieldname' when accessing data (via a
feature join) in a SQL Server table. The condition itself does work when used
in a theme. However, if I use the 'Get' button with fields in a different SQL
Server table, but in the same database, I do not get this error message. I can
see no reason for this.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>All
these types of issue make it a slow and painful process trying to set up a
working application.</span></font> <o:p></o:p></p>

would be nice if somebody (especially somebody from Autodesk) could shine some
