MapGuide would be by the same "user", but I believe that Oracle will look at it
as each user accessing the overlying MapGuide application.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

new contracts anymore (which follows the industry trend). Instead, new

<DIV> Hi All,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> Can Somebody help me by telling the relationship
between Mapguide users and Oracle users? Suppose there are 3 users accessing the
Web service via Mapguide interface and all those users View Spatial Data that
was stored in the Oracle Database (just view, not edit). How many user
connections will Mapguide make to the Oracle Database? 1, 3, or something else?
What if one of those user disconnect and come back in? What if mapguide
users are just idle .What kind of Oracle Database License useful for the WebGIS
Application developed using MapGuide WebServer-Named User/Multiplexing or
Processor Based License for this application )? Any other cases if you
can suggest of will be highly appreciable. </DIV>
