MapProxy requires Python 2.5 (reminds me I should mention that in the
documentation somewhere). As far as I know, the latest RedHat release
is still on 2.4.

You can compile Python 2.5 on RedHat or search for some pre build RPMs
http://serverfault.com/questions/24207/install-python-2-5-on-redhat-centos

It should be possible to backport MapProxy to 2.4 though, but I don't
know if it is worthwhile.

Regards,
Oliver
