[MapProxy] using Mapproxy with Mapserver - setting correct resolutions with applications that assume different DPI

Hello,

I would like to set the Mapproxy resolutions to be the same as the resolutions that my client application will use. I will use Mapserver to create the maps, and Openlayers to consume maps both from Mapserver and Mapproxy. My understanding is that Mapserver assumes a dpi of 72 whereas Mapproxy assumes a DPI of about 92. What I am trying to figure out is whether or not that matters when setting the resolutions in Mapproxy. For example, if my Application uses the 1:1000, 1:4000, and 1:8000 would I set my resolutions in Mapproxy to be 1000, 4000, 8000, or would I need to factor in the difference between 72 DPI and 92 DPI, and if so how would I do that?

Thanks
