<div>Hello,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I was able to get mapproxy to serve images in county coordinates to an openlayers client. When I tried to open up the mapproxy layer in ArcGIS and QGIS, the wms layer would not load until I changed the client side projection from county coordinates to
a different coordinate system. </div>
<div> </div>
<div> </div>
<div>Here is what I noticed:</div>
<div> </div>
<ul style="margin:0;padding-left:36pt;">
<li>I am using proj_data_dir: 'C:/ms4w/proj/nad/' to reference the same espg code that mapserver uses. I am also using the same bounding box and espg code that Mapserver uses. The WMS via mapserver works fine in ArcGIS.</li><li>ArcGIS reports a bounding box of -92, 44, -90, 46. The bounding box should be closer to -96, 44, -95, 45. If I switch the units from ft to m in my espg code, then Mapserver has then same incorrect bounding box as Mapproxy.</li><li>Openlayers displays the WMS service in native coordinates.</li><li>If I switch the coordinate system of the map in ArcGIS to any other projection, then ArcMap displays the Mapproxy WMS Service in the proper location.</li></ul>
<div> </div>
<div>I think the issue has something to do with a unit issue between feet and meters. I don’t know why this would be an issue as I am using the same espg information that mapserver uses. If anyone has any thoughts let me know.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks.</div>
