The ticket/patch/commit model works well for code contribution, but I think it flounders for documentation because of the now increasing language variability and the contribution volume (many pages, lots of small edits, so on). We don't use a wiki (or Plone!) for primary documentation contribution, and we should do our best to allow people to easily contribute to the documentation. I want to enable people like Eduin to hit the ground running quickly without too much of our bureaucracy getting in the way.
