[mapserver-dev] Using mapserver with non-projected raster files

Hi all,

I've been using MapServer for a long time to display raw raster files 
without projection information, to get control points for 
georeferencing. Up to MS 4.10.5, this was no problem, but with 5.6.0 
mapserv hangs: no error, the application just doesn't finish. Is this a 
bug or is MapServer meant to work with projected files only nowadays? If 
so, there should be an error message, but I would prefer the old behavior
