Jim’s been active on the MapServer project for a number of years. The folks he works with are always pushing the envelope with the software and as such has reported (and supplied fixes for) lots of bugs over the years. Most recently he’s taken on maintaining the Oracle Spatial code. The previous maintainer is nowhere to be found.
