Please note that I made a few minor edits this morning to document the limitations of the initial implementation with respect to TrueType symbols and lack of JSON encoding of attribute values. It is expected that those should be addressed before the 7.0 release, but the goal is to merge the code produced during GSoC into master (and to get some testing/feedback) ASAP to avoid letting it diverge too much as new developments take place in master.<br>
