    <p>Hi Steve,</p>
    <p><br>
    </p>
    <p>I have now figured out how to compile MapServer and have gotten a
      development server running.  I compiled "master" from github and
      once I got all the pieces together, my app seems to be working
      properly.  I mostly use MapServer in cgi mode (mapserv) but have
      some small bits of code which uses PHP MapScript to create PDF
      maps for printing to scale.</p>
    <p><br>
    </p>
    <p>The php scripts use the old "ms_" constructors and with limited
      testing done so far seem to work on Ubuntu 18.04 with PHP 7.2.</p>
    <p><br>
    </p>
    <p>I'm looking forward to the 7.4 release. <br>
