<p class="MsoNormal">I was doing a little research regarding a post on mapserver-users a week or so ago. Can anyone confirm that the processing SCALE directive with non 8bit data effectively clips the data to that range as opposed to stretching the data over
that range. The docs aren’t precise… Frank’s example under “Classifying Non-8bit Rasters” reads like it’s clipping the data while the documentation related to SCALE directive talks about stretching.
