Setting up MapScript on NT

I got as far as a mapscript DLL.  When attempting to
use it with Perl (ActivePerl ) I get "Error: Parse Exception"
from Perl.

I've found no solution to the problem.  I think it may be
related to DLL calling convention (how the values are
passed from the exe to the DLL).  The DLL might
not be using the one that the ActivePerl exe expects.

The answer may be to get the NT version of Swig to
produce an ActivePerl-friendly interface definition with
the correct calling convention.

This is just a guess.  Not too much doc on extending 
Perl on NT using Swig...
