[mapserver-users] getting min/max extents

Hi

If you are running linux and you have installed the shape class (I
think you can get it at either www.remotesensing.org or
www.opengis.org) you can use the 'shpdump' command to get the
'universe polygon' for a shapefile:

shpdump myfile.shp |head
