[Mapserver-users] urgent help needed - UMN and Oracle v9.i

Dear list(s),

we wonder if anybody out there knows of a project, where umn gets the 
data served from an oracle v9.i. and knows about any knacks.

Our man is sitting in the ministery and has problems: We've compiled UMN 
on win with MrSID (better: the GD) and Oracle libraries. The MrSID works 
fine but we don't get the data out of the database and displayed with 
UMN (of course: normaly we use PostGIS, but for this customer Oracle is 
essential...).

gibt es dort draußen irgend jemanden, der in einem Projekt Daten aus 
einer Oracle v9.i. Datenbank im UMN dargestellt hat und irgendwelche 
Knackpunkte kennt?

Unser Mann sitzt gerade beim Kunden und kriegts nicht hin: Wir haben UMN 
unter win mit MrSID (hier konkret die GD) und Oracle Bibliotheken 
kompiliert, MrSId läuft auch, aber Oracle macht Probleme - ja der Kunde 
setzt auf Oracle, mit PostGIS kommen wir da nicht durch ;-)).
