Well, I got something :)
I was able to view 1 red dot ;)
Should be lots more. I think I got some kind of projection error or something wrong with lat and lon. Scale is questionable too? ie meters kilometers, miles or dd (What is dd)

this is what I have on other layer? (Cities in Canada)
and this is what I am trying to import, but lats and lons are different? im nubie ;0

Working shape data from dbf files :

LAT LONG
523300 561800
552800 601300
550500 591100
533300 640100

and NOT working shape (Well one dot):

WGS_LAT WGS_DLAT WGS_LONG WGS_DLONG
N12300500 12.501389 W070005480 -70.015222
N17081230 17.136750 W061473360 -61.792667
N24464990 24.780528 E052333580 52.559944

What should be set differently to show all of these?

Thx

Hi

I got all examples finally working, also installed maplab, and its working great.(php script latest)
I read multiple posts and got sidetracked so many times.
I have 3 files test.dbf test.shp and test.shx (I read that mapserver needs all of them to work) I got them working fine with ArcExplorer, but when I try to add them to Mapserver demo files or maplab demofiles, I just get blank screen.

I know I need to give all kinds of properties, but I'm so confused ;0

What would be absolutely minimum stuff to get this working, so I can learn.
Do I need some other programs to use these Arc files with Mapserver.

Thanks
