[Mapserver-users] how to restrict layers based on location?

Upon further reflection, I think editing the shapefiles
directly to merge the data is the way to go, at least
in my case.  This new data I've received is just more
accurate than my existing data set - not higher resolution -
so replacing the existing data with the new data is the
best way to go, I think.  We will probably need to do
some matching up at the boundaries between the two datasets
anyway, so it seems to just make more sense to edit the
two shapefiles together.
