i've got mapserver running now.

I'm testing the 'demo' map file now.  Looks like the demo file uses gif
images.  I'll probably get an error message since I don't have the gif
licensing.

Hi

Have you checked in /usr/local/lib if your compiled GD
yourself it would be in there, but if you are using a rpm
it is in /usr/lib

you may need to add the path to /usr/local/lib in your
ld.so.conf and run ldconfig
