[Mapserver-users] no image(s)

The EXTENT in your mapfile should match your shapefile extents if that is
the area you are wanting to view.  If you know the coordinates and units for
your area you should be able to verify if the mapfile or your shapefile is
using the correct coordinates for your area.

Should be:

EXTENT [min x] [min y] [max x] [max y]

I would not worry about querying data at this point.  Lets get the mapserver
to display a map first.

i downloaded the shapechck software and viewed the
shapefile with it..below is what am getting :

Xmin: 35.786953
Ymin: -0.721388
Xmax: 36.408545
Ymax: 0.094966
Zmin: 0
Zmax: 0
Mmin: 0
Mmax: 0

from the look of it am really confused,,i don't know
all what it means,,as in what to put where and how!! i
now feel like i could scream :)
