[Mapserver-users] modifying a point location using php_mapscript

You will need to create a new shapefile.  AFAIK there is no way to edit/update a shape file.
You'll need to loop thru all the shapes in the shape file and add them one by one to a new file.
When you find the point you want, update the coordinates before adding it.
