[Mapserver-users] OGC Interoperability Add-On for ArcGIS

You might need to do the "script wrapper" trick, wherein a shell script 
is created that sets the MAPFILE environment variable and then calls 
mapserv. That way the outward facing URL is bare of parameters.  There 
are also some nice tricks you can do with Apache and SetEnv directives.
