colorTIF support

hello everyone,

I am working with the version 4.0.1 for windows.
I have been in trouble working with a TIFF color image as background of
my mapservr.
If I display the map in 1:1 scale there is no problem at all but when I
try to ZOOM the map (which contains a color TIFF background) image the
next error message appears.

"drawTIFF(): Image handling error. Only colormapped and grayscale images
are supported"

Does anyone of you know if this problem can be solved.
