Hello David,

you need to send some parameters to the mapserv.exe in order to
introduce it to do something. One of them is the configuration mapfile.
When I started with the UMN Mapserver I installed the Demo Workshop
application avaliable at the downloadpage
(http://maps.dnr.state.mn.us/mapserver_demos/workshop.zip).

I think this is a good example which illustrates how mapserv.exe works
and should give you an idea of how you can use it for your purpose.

The output you sent shows that Mapserv.exe seems to work properly, and
if you configured tomcat to run cgi, there should be no problems. But I
have not tested the cgi module on tomcat yet.

Bye,
Christian
