problems using a cascaded layer - wms_name parameter

Dear listers,
I am trying to use a cascaded layer.
I call it on my map file like this
"wms_name"    "/landmap/mosaics/landsat/l5mosaic.ecw"
The server produces an error saying that it is unnable of displaying
that same layer.
Does anyone know how to deal with this issue? I do believe that the
problem is the slash usage...
