MapServer Foundation thoughts and reactions

Drew,

Our primary GIS format is to be SDF going forward and we are
contributing all of the source code for the FDO provider to that to the
community. This is used by MSE today and will be used by a future
version of Map. 

 

BTW, it is based on SQLite (http://www.sqlite.org/).
