XUL Interface for mapserver app?

Jon (or has anyone else done this) -- 

Did you ever do anything with your XUL client? Did XUL give you more 
flexibility/performance as opposed to straight DHTML? I am curious to hear 
any comments that you might have about XUL and Mapserver together. I think 
that for an intranet site, it might offer a number of advantages.
