Searching / Character

Hello all,

  I'am familiar with regExp but new to MapScript/Mapserver. I can search
numerical and string values with MapScript but can't search a string like
'8759/58', but i should.

  i tried,

   qStr = '/8759\/58/'
   qStr = '/8759/58/'

   There must be a point that i miss.
