Projection problem

hiii all, 
We first installed PROJ.4 library in "/var/www/html/" , and all the subdirectories like :bin , include , etc exist now in the path specified above . 
Then we configured mapserver with projection as follows :

./configure --with-proj=/var/www/html/

Then we include the Projection parameters in our mapfile like :

Projection
init:epsg=26915
END

And when we run the mapfile on the browser , we get this error :

loadProjection(): Projection library error. Projection support is not available. 

Plz help us out with this .
