disable png interlacing?

Add this to the end of your map file:

       OUTPUTFORMAT
          NAME PNG
          DRIVER "GD/PNG"
          MIMETYPE "image/png"
          IMAGEMODE PC256
          EXTENSION "png"
          *FORMATOPTION "INTERLACE=OFF"*
        END
