Support for styleitem auto in OGR

Hello again,

The support for "styleitem auto" is still rather primitive in MapServer, 
right? Are there still people working on this? Drawing simple lines goes 
OK, but now I have a line which has a special line style (dotted) and 
MapServer doesn't draw this line at all.

Any ideas if this will be supported in next versions?
