Ara,

I'd encourage you to prepare a detailed and minimal demonstration - hopefully
consisting of a mapfile, a data file, and the shp2img commandline to
demonstrate the problem without requiring any other support files.   Then you
can submit this as a bug report (assigned to me), and I'll look into what is
happening.

Keep in mind if it takes me more than 3 minutes to reproduce the bug at my
end there is a high likelyhood I will get distracted and potentially never
get back to the issue.  I'm very bad that way.  So please make it dead simple
for me to get to the point where I see the problem happening.  Then I'm likely
to become fascinated with the problem and ignore everything else around me for
a while.
