Vertor PDF as data source for mapserver

Hello,

I have some PDFs containing maps in vector format.
Is there any possibility to use those as a datasource for mapserver (like,
for example, ESRI shapefiles?) without creating any raster image (like
TIFF)?
I want to keep the vector format because of the quality loss when scaling a
raster image.

Is it possible to use multiple raster images for the same map for the
different zoom levels the user can display?
