labeling difference between 4.8 and 4.10

Hi list,

what has changed in labeling between Mapserver 4.8 and Mapserver 4.10?

Image with Mapserver 4.8:

Image with Mapserver 4.10:

Zoom in to the lower left corner of the image especially around the city of
Rotterdam to see the difference.

MAP files are exactly the same.
