Is it a WMS service?
If yes then
	You can use SLD and FE
	http://mapserver.org/ogc/sld.html
	http://mapserver.org/ogc/filter_encoding.html
elseif WFS
	Use FE directly
	http://mapserver.org/ogc/filter_encoding.html
