Ah, bummer.

Where in the process are we talking?  The beginning?  They open a web 
browser with url http://.../map=a.map&pin=badmask?

Or you are generating the map, know the pin, but need to display the bad 
mask instead of the good?

Humm... still using geoMoose?  So the backend is cgi w/shapefiles?
