[mapserver-users] googleMap as a base layer

Just to clarify, the limitation is not raised with an enterprise license.

The best solution is to use something like OpenLayers (openlayers.org) and have a Google layer and a MapServer layer. OpenLayers and MapServer work very well together.

no, the google maps terms of service explicitely deny this kind of usage (this limitation is probably raised if you get an enterprise
license)
