[mapserver-users] show only classes in legend within current extent

Nope. It's not a very hard problem, but it's computationally expensive. My thought is that we'd have to add class counters to the legendObj and populate them during a map draw. That means for mode=legend you'd also have to draw a map or at least mimic it.

I'm pretty sure the answer to my question is "No" but just in case - is it possible to restrict the classes show in a simple legend (CGI
mode=legend) to only those classes within the current extent?
