Hello userlist,

the problem: I use a .ttf -font to display a special item. This Item
must be displayed in different sizes.
Though I do not want to create several different font styles nor i do
not want to desribe several classes in a mapfile, is it possible to
connect the SIZE in a mapfile to a database column to get the according
size?
example:

CLASS
EXPRESSION /1141/
NAME "xxx"
TEXT "A"
LABEL
TYPE TRUETYPE
FONT 'alk_textsym'
SIZE 12.755905511811023622047244094485 [*
factor in database?]
#MINSIZE 5
#MAXSIZE 9
POSITION cc
OFFSET 0 0
#MINDISTANCE 2
COLOR 0 0 0
ANTIALIAS TRUE
PARTIALS FALSE
FORCE True
END
END

Has anybody experience doing this?

thank you in advance
Thomas
