"map portal" as a directory/index/gateway to multiple map sites. It sounds
like you're looking for integrated sites that combine maps with other forms of
related information. Time to put on my thinking cap (or browsing beanie, I

a little better it will be easier for us to help. What exactly are you
looking for? "a little more than just a map browser" doesn't tell us much,
because it probably includes lots of things you don't want.
