There is a symbol type "simple" that does more or less the same as
cartolines.<br>

should do the trick.<br>

and in mapfile describe the style like that:
CLASS
NAME "Elektriliin"
EXPRESSION '10'

SYMBOL "dotline"
SIZE 8 #vertical stripes
COLOR 0 0 0
END
END
How I can do that without cartolines?
