In this moment, I am interested to learn how can i to do for develop in MapServer codebase and I am a little worried because I dont know how to do it..<br>
<br>About the algorithm: In very general terms is a kind of search algorithm. it must get some<br>data of MAPFILE and manipulate them.And I need to add some new reserved words in the MAPFILE for activate my algorithm. (I think i will need to create a new files for my algorithm and modify: mapfile.h,mapfile.dtd,etc)<br>
<br>I am reading about compile mapserver with MSVC, but I am not understanding very clearly.. (<a href="http://www.mapserver.org/installation/win32.html#compiling">http://www.mapserver.org/installation/win32.html#compiling</a>).<br>

Hi,<br><br>Do you have an example where you'd like to plug your code into the mapserver codebase, what kind of algorithm you'd like to implement?<br>The debugging options may be specific to the platform and the compiler/debugger beilg used. For example you could compile mapserver with debug info by using MSVC and setting up the debug option in the nmake.opt file.<br>
