David...<br>In my system the user SELECT the active layer (dropdown), and so he can "query" it selecting a a area or a point ....<br><br>But, I´d like to <span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse:separate;color:rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:arial;font-size:13px;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;line-height:normal;orphans:2;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse:collapse;font-family:Arial;white-space:pre;">take off that </span></span>dropdown to select active layer... And when user click on map to query, I figure out what layer was clicked and query that...<br>

would guess that this really is about the client-side map interface and not
about MapServer. Does your interface only allow them to click/select the
topmost layer? Do you pick which layer is selectable? Do you let
them pick which layer is selectable? Is it random?
