Usually, when displaying mapserver data on basemap layers such as openlayers, or directly on google / bing maps, you would use their tiling system.<br><br>There's examples here of how you would do this in openlayers : <a href="http://docs.openlayers.org/library/spherical_mercator.html">http://docs.openlayers.org/library/spherical_mercator.html</a><br>

I've been using phpmapscript for on-the fly query & displaying the<br>
resultant images... Now that I've got this problem that I tried using both<br>
mscross & openlayers to display the image but somehow I cud not work it<br>
out.. I mean in both the above frameworks we need to specify the output<br>
image in the sort of URL tag-line style(wms) as below...<br>
