</div>I think the answer to this is "Use a more recent GD." If that's not<br>
an option, then you'll need to expand the frame of the selected image<br>
to be slightly larger than the actual image itself; this is possible<br>
with TileCache (metaBuffer), OpenLayers (gutter), etc.<br>
