    I think the idea of using ogr/gdal to reliably get the axis order is
    for may the best option. In that case when we use wms1.3.0 and up,
    wfs 1.1 and up we always know that the axis order are the same
    regardless of the format in which the epsg is given.<br>

            because they&nbsp; both are fooling with the rules.</span></font></div>
