    &nbsp;Not sure I understand well the question: Mapserver does not support
    tiled layers by itself. Usually when doing tiles, you will use
    tilecache servers (tilecache.org, or mode-geocache
    <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://code.google.com/p/mod-geocache/">http://code.google.com/p/mod-geocache/</a>&nbsp; ) that can be set up to&nbsp;&nbsp;
    possibly use MapServer as rendering engine .<br>
    &nbsp;<br>
    &nbsp;Wehn you mention getcapabilities, are referring to the
    getcapabilities support in the WMTS (web map tiling service from
    OGC)? If that is the case, I would recommend again to&nbsp; check the
    tilecache libraries mentioned above.<br>
    If this does not reflect what you intend to accomplish, please give
    more details on what you expect from MapServer.<br>
