<p><font face="DejaVu Sans"><big>This is a first of its kind geospatial event, right here in the Upper Midwest. Several GIS organizations from across the region have come together to plan a GIS conference that spans borders and encourages collective learning.</big><br>

<p><font face="DejaVu Sans"><small><small><small><span style="font-size:14.0pt">UMGEOCON will start off with some great workshops including one devoted to GeoMOOSE. During the conference proper there is an open source track on each day where there will more
GeoMOOSE, Georilla, and other FOSS4G, as well as speakers like Howard Butler who will be pulling open source LiDAR rabbits out of a hat. The workshop program is here:
