    <p>This usually the order I test mapserver configurations.<br>
    </p>
    <p>1) Test your mapfile with shp2img

    <p>2) Test your WMS config with the built in open layers viewer: 
      <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://mapserver.org/cgi/openlayers.html">https://mapserver.org/cgi/openlayers.html</a></p>
    <p>3) Test with QGIS</p>
    <p>If you really want test the mapserver syntax, install and use:
      <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://mappyfile.readthedocs.io/en/latest/">https://mappyfile.readthedocs.io/en/latest/</a>  and use the validate
      command on the command line.<br>
