Hi Cameron,<div><br></div><div>This was certainly brought up at the Board meeting in Seattle last month. I will see if I can get that discussion going again at least so we move forward with some of the ideas we kicked around then (but ran out of time to fully discuss). </div>

In previous years, there has been a marketing budget, and Arnulf has
mentioned the desire from the board to make use of such a budget.<br>

However, the marketing committee has gone into hibernation since
Tyler left, with the rest of the committee spending most of our time
on OSGeoLive.<br>

In particular, in the past there has been a big gap between
expectations individual conference attendees and available budget
(when multiplied across all spatial conferences around the world).<br>

Maybe you could be tempted to get involved in the marketing
committee and help re-vitalise it?<div><div class="h5"><br>
